Who are we supporting? |
Seniors or Developers across the street? At Daniel Lee's campaign launch on Saturday, August 21, I had the opportunity to ask him a few questions regarding the 175 Cummer homeless modular project. I would like to ask the same questions to Lily Cheng and everyone else who also opposes this project. Who are we supporting, the seniors or the developers across the street? At the same time, the way BCNA is fighting this project and supporting Daniel Lee makes me think. Protecting a vulnerable can not justify violating the rights of another one. Where are those golden locations in Willowdale that no one opposes? As a supporter of this project, I felt offended seeing Daniel Lee choosing this location for launching his campaign. This doesn't prevent me from continuing to support Daniel Lee as well as other candidates. |

WHAT ABOUT HOMELESS PEOPLE? |
This
afternoon, I went to the candidates' debate with a few
questions. Unfortunately, there was no live Q&A. I wanted to
speak on behalf of those who never vote and have no voice. I
wanted to ask the candidates if they consider homeless people
living in Willowdale as members of our community. If in the
office, they will consider being their MPP too. And what would
be their immediate plan and solution to make a way that no one
in Willowdale sleeps in the cold next winter? I have a plan. I
wait to see who is going to be elected. |
